Australia has three basic mobile phone company Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and some small virtual mobile phone company that using these 3 basic mobile phone company network,  2G networks of Telstra and Optus have been closed, only 3G WCDMA and 4G LTE-FDD networks can be used. The 2G GSM network of Vodafone can still be used now, but it may be closed soon. And the time can not be confirmed, The Australian-specific version GPS tracker we produced can cover all 3G/4G frequency bands of the three basic mobile phone company. The frequency bands of the three basic mobile phone company are as follows:

The Telstra and Optus networks are better covered. Vodafone is cheaper. The frequency bands used by other virtual mobile phone company depend on the basic mobile phone company that they used. The SIM card used by T-Box and GPS tracker need active data service. It is recommended to purchase data package to save data charge (generally T-Box and GPS monthly data cost is about 10-20M). The APN & internet user name & password should be set before using (some SIM card do not need to set the user name and password), send SMS to tracker can set the APN & username password, the APN setting command SMS content is: APN*123456*apnname, 123456 is the password of the tracker (T-Box is 12345678), apnname is the APN Name in the following table; the Username & Password setting command SMS content is:  USERNAME*123456*username*password, 123456 is the password of the tracker (T-Box is 12345678), username is the User Name in the following table, password is the password in the following table; the following table is the APN name and user name and password of several mobile phone company in Australia (Maybe even for same one company, the APN for different package SIM card may be also different.
